2023

Healthy Aging

Currently, the effect of with the active ingredient combination of Alpha-Ketoglutarate and 5-Hydroxymethylfurfural on Healthy Aging is being researched at the Austrian Institute of Technology. Initial results are expected in 2024.

2021

Human Study

Rejuvant®, a formulation containing Alpha-Ketoglutarate and vitamins, was examined in a U.S. study in 2021. The results showed that participants exhibited an average 8-year reduction in biological age after an average of 7 months of using the product, as measured by the TruAge DNA Methylation test.

The study analyzed the effect of Rejuvant® on the biological aging of participants. The TruAge DNA Methylation test determined that participants who had taken Rejuvant® showed an average reduction of 8 years in their biological age after an average of 7 months. It was assumed that Alpha-Ketoglutarate, a main component of Rejuvant®, plays a role in reducing inflammation and other aging processes, contributing to these positive results.

2020

Mouse Tests

Researchers from the University of California, San Francisco, and the Buck Institute for Research on Aging found in a 2020 study that Alpha-Ketoglutarate (AKG) has the potential to extend the healthy lifespan of mice. The results suggest that AKG reduces inflammation and can delay aging processes.

In the study, mice fed AKG-supplemented diets showed a longer healthy lifespan compared to the control group. The scientific investigation suggested that AKG acts at the cellular level by promoting cell metabolism and thereby reducing oxidative damage and inflammatory processes often associated with aging.

2014

Model Organism Tests

Anti Aging not only promotes positive effects that can potentially extend life but also supports improved stress management.

This was observed, for example, in model organisms subjected to heat stress: The adaptability of these organisms to heat improved, allowing them to deal more effectively with heat once exposed. This underscores how Anti Aging can contribute to enhancing the physiological response and resilience of the body under stress conditions, including extreme temperatures.
